The EU Nations is returning to the Czech Republic after a one-year hiatus. The last tournament of this type was held in Prague swimming pool „Podolí“ last September, and it was the EU Nations Women Clubs. Unlike last year, the venue for the upcoming tournament will be swimming pool „Za Lužánkami“ in Brno. Total number of 12 national teams will visit this newly renovated swimming pool to compete for medal positions. Newcomers to this type of competition will be Saudi Arabia and Estonia, so let's see what results they will come up with against their opponents.
The teams have been divided into four groups, with the draw going as follows:
Group A: Estonia, Moldova, Austria
Group B: Wales, Czechia, Ireland
Group C: Latvia, Slovakia, FFBN (Federation Francophone Belge de Nation)
Group D: Scotland, Saudi Arabia, England
The teams in each group will play each other on a one-on-one basis. After the round robin, the 4 group winners will form Group E, the 4 runners-up will form Group F and the 3rd place teams will form Group G. These groups will then play another round (again, one on one) to decide the final standings:
Group E: 1st - 4th place
Group F: 5th - 8th place
Group G: 9th - 12th place
All matches will be streamed on the YouTube channel "Czech Water Polo" and the online record will be mediated on this website. We will keep you informed about the daily programme on our Facebook profile and Instagram.
