EU NATIONS WOMEN TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEND IN BRNO

From Friday to Sunday, another EU Nations tournament, this time in the women's category, will take place in the "Za Lužánkami" swimming pool in Brno. Apart from the home team, Slovakia, Sweden, Great Britain and Wales will visit the Czech Republic. All teams will form one group and will play on a round-robin basis. On Sunday, the third team will play the fourth team for bronze, while the first team will play second for gold. In total, there will be twelve matches.

Especially the duels between Great Britain, Slovakia and the Czech Republic will offer an attractive spectacle, as these three teams have advanced to the European Championships in the Netherlands in January. The match between Great Britain and Slovakia will open the tournament. Later that day, Great Britain will challenge the home team. The Czech-Slovak derby takes place on Saturday evening.

All matches will be live-streamed and online coverage. You can follow it all on the YouTube channel "české vodní pólo" or on this website www.eunwp.eu.

P. S. On Saturday, the spectators can also look forward to a replay of last year's final of the men's I. league, when the home team Kometa Brno will welcome AJ Strakonice. The match shall start at 15:30.
